The Batch Burn Incinerator allows waste to be loaded into the primary chamber
either manually or with a feeding ram, if so equipped. After the chamber is loaded with
waste materials, the burn cycle is initiated and the feeding door is locked and unlocked
electronically when the burn cycle is completed.
During the batch burn cycle, waste burns under controlled air conditions for 8 to 16
hours depending on batch unit size. When the cycle has been completed, the unit shifts to
a shut down cycle for final burn out and cool down. After cool down and the removal of ash
and non-combustible items, the unit is ready to reload.

Note: All of the above units are designed to be used on a batch burn basis. Waste is
loaded into the primary chamber manually, or with a ram feeder if so equipped, until the
chamber is full, usually at the end of the day. The burn cycle is then initiated by
turning a switch. After burn down the unit goes into a shut down cycle for final burn out
and cool down. The following morning the small amount of ash and non-combustible is
removed. It is then ready for another load.
