Simonds Manufacturing has invested over 55 years in the pursuit of excellence in the
development of waste combustion systems. We offer worldwide distribution of 22 different
models of batch, continuous feed destructors
and pathological destructors. Manufacturing quality products and
satisfying customer expectations is a Simonds tradition. From the moment of delivery
through the lifetime of the equipment, the Simonds family is ready to service the
diversified products it manufactures and sells.
Product improvement is an ongoing process at Simonds. We have pioneered the
development of incinerator high temperature air preheating systems, and have assumed and
early lead in the recognition that materials handling (how waste is moved to, into and
removed from the incinerator) is as important as the combustion itself.
Simonds has been instrumental in the development of incinerators for hospital wastes
compacted in boxes. We have developed a continuous feeder which pushes hospital waste
through a water-jacketed sleeve. This feeder is equally compatible with vacuum systems,
waste chutes, or even a conventional cart delivery system. Simonds has also created an ash
removal system design which, unlike conveyors, have only a single drag arm operating under
water.
We offer our customers a choice of the standard electromechanical control system or a
programmable controller system, available since 1984.
